- Pixel World War (/7) has been reset following the changes below:
- /7 now have MVP areas (Europe "region" and mini world war at the bottom right). You will need to request access to be able to place pixels in these areas (click on it or type /mvp). We may add or remove MVP areas later on.
- Botting is now allowed everywhere on /7 (except in the MVP areas).
- You can now advertise a custom message on the new top right scrolling band of /7. The message will be clickable and can either open a painting, user profile or guild profile (require PXP coins).
- Moved premium island on /7 to make space for the mini MVP world map at the bottom right.
- Chat will now suggest recent usernames when you @. Use Tab key or click a name to add it to your input.
- New /delete command for moderators so they can remove messages without muting the user.
- Guild and User avatars from wars will now be hidden when zooming in (past 4.00+ scale).
- 2 new painting auction durations added: 10 minutes and 7 days.
- Painting rules now display line breaks correctly on the access request modal.
- Premium bot skip protected pixels again.

Major overhaul of the Painting tools
Changes are now applied instantly server-wide, tools no longer have cooldowns, and brush size can go up to 300x300.
Owner Painting Access setting is now free, allowing you to protect a painting you want to use as a profile background without needing Premium.
Avatar and Guild bombs: are back in stock with an increased size to match profile/guild avatars.
Missiles/Bombs: Several visual issues fixed. Cooldowns removed and area of effect increased.
PXP Crates: New shop item that give a chance to loot one random shop item or special chat/profile icons.
To celebrate this, a free PXP Crate can be claimed in the Free Coins section of the Shop (limited to the first 35 players).
New Crate King Icon: A new chat/profile icon has been added (Rare Drop from the PXP crates).
Daily loot spin: Can now drop PXP Crates and Treasure Chests instead of bombs.
Halloween Usernames are back in stock for a limited time

- Last Login on profiles now displays hours, minutes, and seconds.

Slightly increased placing speed and significantly improved the update loop.
Note: Please update your bot to not place more than 60 pixels/second, or you risk being rate-limited and eventually permanently banned if repeated.
Forum notification chips now appear on the chat tab when someone replies to your post or quotes one of your comments. All notifications are cleared once you visit the forum. If you are online, you will receive a chat message containing the post link and the username of the player who triggered the notification.
Moderators can now lock or unlock forum posts.
Canvases with cooldowns now display the remaining cooldown time in the browser tab title.
Using /tm when no replay is available now triggers a notification error instead of a code error.
Added speed-up and slow-down buttons for the Time Machine.
Chat now supports a darker theme when /darkmode is enabled.
Chat messages typed in the input box now persist even when clicking outside of it.
Clicking your followers to view the list can now toggle it closed by clicking again.
You can now hide frames and inventory while visiting a player's profile.
Pressing Enter in the painting search input no longer unnecessarily refreshes the page.
Typing some specific characters no longer allows you to create canvases without names.
Removed the hidden ability to sign in with your YouTube account as this was never fully compatible.
The “•” between your guild and username in the profile modal no longer disappears when using an XMAS username.
/help now works again.
Holding the spacebar on protected pixels while refreshing will no longer allow drawing on the ocean.
Using /here to mention someone now displays coordinates in the notification instead of a blank message.
Removing /w while submitting text in the form no longer causes messages to be sent to a null or blank user.

A new chest has appeared on /7, just on top of the Gold Rush Island button.
You can now craft framed paintings and sell them at the new auction house or keep them to display on your player profile!
Framed paintings require ores and gemstones that you can get by buying [Treasure Chest] with your Gold Bars!
This auction house will only allow bids (no buyout button!) and the auction expire time will increase by 2 minutes everytime someone bids near the auction end
Also, player wars will now have a chance to reward [Treasure Chest] to the winner.
From time to time, the PXP staff will auction their own paintings with a special effect on it!
3 new chat icons are now available!

Premium users now have access to the official Pixelplace BOT (still in BETA) by hitting B on their keyboard or going to Main menu > Paintings > Settings / Tools
It won't be the best bot available but you can now have a basic and safe alternative to untrusted ones.
Recent Hotfixes:

- Added new color matching filters button (thanks to @Duchesskero )
- Bot will now be displayed at your current screen center rather than top left or the painting
- Fixed strech bug after multiple resize

Every 20 minutes, a new contested zone appear on /7. The guild or player who place the most pixels during the war will win it and get battle points! Its emblem will be displayed on the zone. Battle points is a new currency that will have its purpose in a future update, it also increase guild points.

Guild ranks: You can now set guild ranks (when editing your guild) and give permissions to your guild members (edit emblem / approve, remove members)
Temp ban: Enter the number of days a player should be banned from your painting
Copy painting: Copy the state of another of your paintings to make backups or reset.
Templates: Mexico template added and much more will be added soon.
Chat moderators: We added many new chat moderators.
Live tracking: Live tracking has been improved to work like in Pixelplace V1 version as requested
Minors changes:
- Improved auto-clicker detection.
- Improved chat loading.
- Fixed a bug with live tracking not displaying a player color change.
- Disabled whispers in invisible mode.
- Fixed a bug where players could still draw on a guild emblem after leaving it/being kicked off.

I'm Owmince, the creator and sole developer of Pixelplace.
I would like to share my vision about this project, how i manage things and how much i care about it.
I love innovation, i have this undying need of creating new things every single day. I can't spend a day doing nothing and i have this urge of being productive every minute of my life. Always thinking about new ideas or improvements, this is what's driving me..
I deeply care about Pixelplace and i have been working on it very frequently since day 1... until i had a personal issue forcing me to stop working on anything for a year and a half. That's why Pixelplace V2 was delayed so much. I recovered about less than a year ago, not fully but i'm able to work again.
Unfortunately even since V2 added shop items, i can't live on Pixelplace revenues. I have to continue to work aside from it. But every time i have some free time, i always try to work or improve it, adding new things from my (big big) todo list. I just want everyone to know that i deeply love this project. Not a single day pass without me checking it. This game is not about money. Well...of course, let's be honest, i would love Pixelplace to be able to sustain me to work 100% of my time on it, but that's not the reality and i don't care, money is not what's keeping me here.
I want this game to be different from the others "MMO" games out there. I do my best to make sure the power we have, as the Pixelplace staff is not misused, that players are feeling heard and that everything is fair as much as we can. This is not an easy task and we are far from perfect but this is what we aim for and is a very important point to me.
People may say that i could be closer to the community. Unfortunately as the game and community grows, it is impossible to keep up with everything as one person. Like other growing companies, i have to delegate some tasks to the *wonderful* team of moderators & chat moderators that are here every day, helping me to do a lot filtering and doing their best to help.
By the way, i'm not exactly the sole developer of Pixelplace, some moderators also do some developements like discord bots or even Pixelplace chat bots! That's neat!
Being less closer from the community doesn't mean i don't care, i just focus the little free time i have to work on things that only me can do: the core's development of Pixelplace.
My dms are still opens though, and i still answer every single ones, unless you are a d**k with me :)
There is so much to come on Pixelplace and i can't wait to have the time to work on theses.

Invisible Mode: A new Tool/Setting letting you appear offline while playing on Pixelplace
Online list: Click on the online counter on the top right of the chat to list current online players on a painting
Name Change: A new shop item is available letting you choose another username
Discord required: A new painting setting option is now available forcing users to link their discord before applying to a painting
Painting search: A search bar has been added on the painting list

As a painting owner, you can now give more power to your moderators on Approval, Guild and Twitch paintings. Go over your moderator list to activate 2 new options giving them the opportunity to use your Painting tools and the new /ban command that will disable and mute the given user from the painting.

User Avatars: Create your own avatar to be displayed on your profile!
Avatar Bomb: A new item shop that you can use to drop your avatar on a painting!
Featured Paintings Check the painting list to find a new block called "Featured Paintings" that will display the top 9 paintings with the most users online
New protection color: You can now choose to replace the pixels you protect with the default grey color of Pixelplace
Guilds requests: You now get a notification in the guild chat when someone apply to join
Locked movement: A new tool is available letting you lock in place the painting
Paintings names: Displayed on social panel and profiles

Daily Reward: We replaced the spinning wheel with a new system named "Daily Loot" to prevent confusion on winnings odds

Auto Accept Time: New painting setting that let you auto accept players with an account older than X minutes (when on approval mode). As a painting owner/moderator, this will help you fight against ban evasion.

Fill tool: As a painting owner, you now have access to a new tool letting you fill areas without erasing protected pixels
Grid: Hit H on your keyboard to display the pixel grid
Anti-DOT system: We now detect and disable users dotting too much (it's not perfect!) on /7, /8 and /17721 (Drew Durnil)
Updated Daily Spin: Twice faster and no more page reload
Arrow keys painting movement
Fixed space bar bug when clicking another browser tab
Rainbow usernames are now correctly displayed in friends/guild list
New Main menu > Account option: Hide your social accounts from your profile
Gift cooldown: a 1 hour delay is now required to send a gift that you received from someone else

Guilds: Auto accept applications

A new option is now available in your guild settings (located in the main menu > Guilds > Edit your guild). This option let others players join your guild without your approbation. You can still manage members and by default, auto-accept option is disabled for existing guilds.
